$10,000 Handicap Tournament Rules
1. Entry Fee - $65.00, $46.00
Prize Fund, $19.00 Lineage and expenses. Sidepots optional. $3.00
Handicap, $3.00 Scratch.
2. Format - Bowl 3 games across 6
lanes, total pinfall plus handicap used to determine bowlers cut into semis.
3. Handicap - Men and Women,
90%
of 220. Maximum handicap 55 pins for Men and 65 pins for Women or Super Seniors
per game, including bonus pins. Score sheets must be signed or scores will not
count.
4. Averages - Out of town bowlers
need to bring verification of Average before they are paid. All bowlers will be
re-evaluated every September.
A. Bowlers will use highest 09-10
and 08-09 yearbook average. Any bowler averaging more than 10 pins higher in a
current league must report this to Tournament Director for a possible re-rate.
B. If the bowler does not have
both a 09-10 and a 08-09 book average, then the bowler will use one of them and
their highest current 30 games average.
C. If the bowler has no average in
09-10 or 08-09, then the
bowler may enter with 16 pins handicap per game.
D. U.B.A. Bowlers averages may
change after 21 Tournament games. Each Tournament you bowl and you do not cash,
one bonus pin will be added to your handicap. (Maximum 10 bonus pins)
5. Semi-Finals - Top
90
bowlers will bowl 3 games, across 6 lanes. Total pinfall plus
handicap to cut Top 20. Top 24 bowlers will bowl 1 more game to
be added to 3 game Semis, to determine top 5 finalists.
6. Finals - The Top 5 bowlers
will bowl T.V. style for 1st place.
7. Re-Entries Permitted - Cut
or Cash Only once.
8. Ties - Any ties for the Top
5 will be broken by a 1 game roll-off.
9. Any bowler who fails to
record their correct scores will be automatically disqualified
from this tournament and suspended from further U.B.A.
tournaments.
10. Any bowlers using vulgar
language or abusing bowling center equipment will be disqualified
from that tournament and suspended indefinitely from other U.B.A.
tournaments.
11. Tournament Directors
reserve the right to re-rate or refuse any entry and have final
decision on all disputes.
12. Any bowler wishing to bowl
in tournament and not participate in Prize Fund will pay $20.00
(Amateur Field).
13. PBA exempt
bowlers are ineligible, PBA Regional Winners Must Report Winnings To Tournament
Director.
